The Arya Ayurvedic Panchakarma Centre at Kudle Beach in Gokarna offers unique, comfortable and spotlessly clean housing in two recently constructed buildings, situated directly in the lush greenery flanking the soft sands of the pristine and charming Kudle beach. They were built in a traditional style yet equipped to meet all the needs of modern travellers.

Each of the 16 clean, spacious rooms with fan has an en-suite bathroom (shower, toilet) and a terrace with views to the sea on the mountains. Friendly English speaking staff take care of the guests and satisfy all of their needs. There are several restaurants and internet cafes are in close proximity.We offer accommodation, ayurvedic meals in our own restaurant, ayurvedic massages as well as - from January 21, 2010 on - complete panchakarma treatment programs and yoga sessions.
Kudle Beach
Kudle Beach is the first in a series of perfect beaches south of Gokarna, at around 5 km from Gokarna town and at a walking distance to either Gokarna city or to Om beach. It is also accessible by rickshaw or by car as well as by boats from Gokarna Beach.Gokarna (ಗೋಕರ್ಣ)
Gokarna (ಗೋಕರ್ಣ), in the Uttara Kannada district of the Karnataka state, is a temple town and a Hindu pilgrimage centre as well as a tourist destination. Gokarna is a peaceful town with traditional houses, full of trees and flowers. The Car Street, which runs through the heart of the town, is made up of shops selling Pooja paraphernalia, souvenirs, food, and flowers. The famous Shiva Temple, Mahabaleshwar Temple, is situated at the western end of the main street. Several other temples as well as Kotitheertha, a man-made tank that is used for immersion of idols and ritual bathing, are within walking distance. Gokarna is also an important centre of Sanskrit learning. During the four day Shivaratri festival, the small town of Gokarna is visited by thousands of pilgrims.
Gokarna is a peaceful town with two main streets with shops and traditional houses, full of trees and flowers. The Car Street, which runs through the heart of the town, is flanked by small business, Pooja paraphernalia, souvenirs, food, and flowers.
The drive up the winding path that leads to Gokarna is scenic, with the mountains of Western Ghats on one side and the Arabian Sea on the other. Gokarna is about 170 km from the international Goa's Dabolim Airport, 240 km north of Mangalore Airport, and about 453 km from Bangalore. Gokarna can be reached by buses from Kumta (36 km), Ankola (25 km) and Karwar (59 km) as well as from Goa, Bangalore and Mangalore on National Highway 17(NH-17). It can be reached also by train Konkan Railway on the Mumbai to Mangalore route. The railway station is 6 km away from the town.
There are many attractive trip destinations from Gokarna, including magnificent world heritage sites at Hampi and Pattadakkal, the temples at Belur, Halebidu and Somnathpur, and the cave temples of Badami and Aihole. You may also consider visiting some lesser-known hill stations in the Western Ghats or waterfalls.

This year, for the first time, Dr.Kiran Achutha Bhat, BAMS will visit Prague. He will give two talks followed by a discussion.
The first one, on Thursday 29. September, at 16:30 h in the Bookstore Dobra, Celetná 32, Praha 1, www.knihydobra.cz, will deal with Ayurveda for everyday, how to feel better and avoid diseases according to ayurveda, alimentation and daily routine.
In the second talk, on Friday, September 30 at 18 h in Maitrea, the house of personal development, Týnská ulička 6, Praha 1, www.maitrea.cz, Dr.Kiran A. Bhat will concentrate on mental aspects, phiilosophical sources of ayurveda and manipulation of energy centres.
